Baby Girl Nielson

As you can tell by the side bar, we are excited to be adding another little girl to our crazy and drama family in April of next year. We were so sure it was a boy, and yet she is definately a girl. We have struggled with finding a name. Kyra has several rules regarding the name:
1. It must end in "ra" because Kyra and Amara do and she (the baby) will know that some day and feel really bad.
2. We must all like the name. We can't name her something dumb. (Kyra told me that one of the names I liked was stupid and she was not going to have a sister named "that!!")
3. It can't have too many letters or she (the baby) will never be able to learn to spell it in kindergarten.

It was hard enough to find a name for Kyra and Amara that Shane and I could agree on--now we have to add Kyra and Amara liking the names into the mix. Now when I say a name, both girls first ask me: "Does Daddy like it?" It has been quite a challenge. She really may go home from the hospital with the name "Baby Girl Nielson." Eventually, we will get an Ultrasound picture scanned in. On a side note, we had the ultrasound at the hospital because of Corwin's cleft palate. Everything looks perfect with her! She definately doesn't have a cleft lip or any other birth defects. We couldn't for sure tell about the palate.. however, since it is a girl, I just know that everything is fine with her.

This has been my easiest pregnancy by far. I'm sure that Heavenly Father knows that I have about reached my max between working nights, lack of sleep, being sick and tired and a certain sassy six year old. My one request.... please, please, please don't let Amara or this new baby ever turn 6!!

PS: If you have any names that meet the requirements of Kyra, please let me know!

You name her after sleeping Beauty. What little girl wouldn't love that? Isn't it Aurora (sp?)
